Sagada is a little-known travel destination before it got popularized through the movie “That Thing Called Tadhana”. Seeing Sagada in the movie is one thing, but experiencing it in person is a whole other experience. The grandeur of Sagada, especially the view at the top of Marlboro Hill is a breathtaking experience. At the peak, a cold breeze embodies you, and fresh air fills your lungs while you bask in the rays of the sun as it peeks through the mountain range. The colors in the sky before and during sunrise are simply magnificent. Looking around you will see the area riddled with beautiful flora and patches of spiderwebs which resembles gigantic snowflakes when seen from a distance, all of which is covered with droplets of early morning dew. While in awe of the view, you will feel like you are in an entirely different country. Everywhere you look at is a feast to your eyes, a far cry from the mundane landscape of Metro Manila. The experience is truly extraordinary, this alone makes Sagada a must tick bucket list destination.
