When we heard about La Union, the first things comes to one’s mind is the Surf Town of San Juan and its more than just beaches.
Recently, I was on La Union and I’ve discovered a seemingly interesting place in Sta. Rita Agoo. They are calling it Agoo Eco-Park, a part of the Damortis-Agoo Protected landscape and seascape. I thought this is a newly develop site in the coastal town of La Union. This eco-tourism site is located at Sta. Rita West and Sta. Rita Central, in Agoo, La Union.
On the entrance, there’s an entrance fee, 15PHP for the fee and 10PHP for parking fee for a total of 25PHP. Go Straight in the entrance and here comes the lovely “agoho trees” that are beautifully aligned on both sides of the road. An ideal place where you can enjoy the calm sorroundings and fresh air together with your love ones and to your family.
A few meters straight, you will reach the beach area. There you can see fined grey sands, Big Rock Pebbles and lenghty shoreline. It’s seems an ideal place for swimming, kite flying, and playing some team played sports. There are also a few huts and the parking space is so large. I preferred to travel on Eco-Park on the afternoon, so that I can see the spectacular sunset together with my family.
That’s it, I hope that you will get relish to this wonderful experience I had shared. Now you can have your own journey!
