One of the National Cultural Treasures as declared by the National Tourism in 2011, the Sta. Monica Church, built in 1774, in Panay is home to the biggest and most likely the heaviest Christian bell in Asia which was cast in 1878 using 70 sacks of coins. The bell weighs 10.4 tons.
