SOCCSKSARGEN – The name is an acronym that stands for the region’s four provinces and one of its cities: South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos City.

Sarangani Province is subdivided into 7 municipalities grouped into two parts, separated by the Sarangani Bay. The western part consists of Kiamba, Maasim, and Maitum, while the eastern part is composed of Alabel, Glan, Malapatan, and Malungon.

The town of Alabel is known for the Kawas beach which is a chosen by locals and tourists as weekend getaway. Roughly 400 meters beautiful beach with gentle waves and beautiful sunset. During low tide you can explore the mangroves area with kids to see fishes swimming around. For Millennials I’m highly recommend to advantage of the low tide take the as much photo as you can with your OOTD. There are plenty of wonderful spot to take pictures with your OOTD. You may use the beautiful scenery of mangroves and sea stone area as your background which only available during low tide only.
