Like an Enchantress – Pundaquit Beach, a sleepy coastal town in San Antonio, Zambales – seduces you with its innate beauty, serenity and quiet nature. It can calm your inner tempest, and sets you in a very relaxed with a hint of melancholy.
Unlike most touristy spots around the country, I find Pundaquit’s lack of bars and nightlife, a magnet as I am easily drawn by its gently rolling waves, gray fine sand and cleanliness of its waters.
With only 3 to 4 hours travel time, it is closer than La Union, so a more enticing option if you can no longer stand the madness of Metro Manila and wanted to de-stress and take in as much salty air and vitamin sea.
I am seduced by the enchanting place, and I will definitely be back and explore the neighboring islands of Anawangin, Capones and Potipot. Offering much newer seducing encounters, and that would be another story…:)
